These stages are enacted at the celebration of the Eucharist: Introductory

Rite (Purgative Stage), Liturgy of the Word (Illuminative Stage), Liturgy

of the Eucharist (Unitive Stage). Therefore, the Eucharist offers us an

opportunity to live through these three stages at every celebration.

Fr. Sahaya G. Selvam, a Salesian of Don Bosco, has been a missionary in Eastern Africa since 1992.Together with lecturing philosophy, he has been actively involved in Youth Ministry.He is pursued his Ph.D in Psychology of Religion in the University of London.Currently he is the Executive Director at Don Bosco Development and Planning Office
